I’m Kelly, a writer and freelance lifestyle coach. After blogging for over 15 years, dabbling in the legal profession for three and then jumping into the tech industry, I’ve been writing for my entire professional career — one way or another. While I can definitely say I’m not a huge fan of the Bluebook, I have a very strong opinion of the Oxford comma — and have a love/hate relationship with the AP Stylebook.
After spending the last few years freelancing on-and-off, spending some time dabbling in startups to develop content marketing strategies and manage their blogs in-house, I’m taking this show on the road (ok, not literally — unless it’s to Portland, in which case some Voodoo Donuts will definitely be involved.) I’ve worked with dozens of businesses and mentored even more freelancers over the years, helping each develop and reach their goals, whatever they may be. Even if it’s just a quick Skype call or coffee date, I love being able to help others change their business for the better.
When I’m not blogging, I can be found on Pinterest, cooking up a low-FODMAP meal with my husband, or on a hike. I’m also a huge fan of disconnecting during weekends — which after years of tech blogging feels pretty amazing.
